Reach for the Heavens ....
Just wanted to throw some inspiration your way. I needed inspiration most recently and it was thrown to me, so I thought heck don't be selfish Mish... SHARE, and I truly hope you do the same.
People are fickle... Okay I'm done.
Ok and now I'm back, no really. People are just simply fickle and I have found that when I put my trust in God I don't seem to care about those fickle people as much anymore. I am so FOCUSED on my purpose that when people show their fickle colors I am showed signs to remove myself WITH LOVE from that situation so I may FOCUS on what is for me however I may need to do that.
Your time is not up! Yes, we need others to become successful, Retailers need shoppers, veterinarians need animals, farmers need agricultural, churches need members, and artists need fans, but DO NOT live a stagnant life because you are waiting on someone or something to do whatever they may or may not do for you. You might have found this person at the moon but it was never your goal to stay there. Am I right? All those who are moon bound the rest of this message is not for you.
ATTENTION ALL INFINITE UNIVERSE TRAVELERS!!
GET OFF OF THAT MOON AND TRAVEL INTO THE INFINITE HEAVENS where you and I belong. Then you may see that person place or thing again and the TIMING will be hopefully be perfect. Then choose whether or not that entity is right for the moment you have in your life at that time. If not OH WELL, with love keep it moving.

A LiL Bit About Me Part deux
So since my bio page is acting up right now I thought I would put who I am on my front page. Check it out below and stay connected with me.
During her senior year of high school Misha'el was faced with a life changing situation. Her mom was diagnosed with stage IV stomach cancer and passed just 6 months after making the discovery. Honoring the wishes of her mother Misha'el continued schooling at the University of Maryland Baltimore County Honors. After three years as a theater major Misha'el was asked by her father if she would wish to pursue a music career. Still in pain from the death of her mother and unable to focus on bio and chemistry Misha'el jumped at the chance to create her first demo.
Misha'el eventually moved to California to fully pursue music and acting endeavors where she met several people who are currently influential in her music today. She finished her record entitled "HIGHER" produced by b. krafty and is currently working with him on a remix to Swedish House Mafia's "Save The World". Most recently, she also is in the studio with producer Cory Bold (Keri Hilson Alienated, Letoya Luckett Lady Love) and has found an extension in her creative family with The Senate Music Group. Collectively their chemistry provides listeners with some of the best soulful electro pop dubstep records ever created. Her voice brings you the soulfulness and rasp of P!nk and Alicia Keys while her stage show brings you the energy of the great Tina Turner, incomparable Beyonce and energized Paramore. Having performed at the House Of Blues Sunset, The Little Temple, The Zanzibar and former Temple Bar in Santa Monica, Misha'el is anxious to finish in the studio so she can hit the stage again.
Misha'el just finished a web episode series directed by Brand Vital entitled "in MY element" . She is currently working on her EP as well as a secret project that will honor one of her favorite hiphop artists while constantly writing for other groups and artists.
"I got a job, saved my chips, and moved to Cali by myself. The arts were my only outlet. Through acting I could be someone else and not deal with the pain in my natural life. Through music I could help others by writing and singing things people can relate to or escape to. I have been on a crazy journey in life and there's still road left for me to travel. Feels good to know people want to walk this road with me, just to see where the heck it goes. I consider myself somewhat of a honey badger. Everyone who feels like you don't care what obstacles are in your way you will overcome, you are a honey badger. For everyone that becomes the most fearless animal in all the animal kingdom no matter what people say or do to you, you are a honey badger too. Live God's purpose over your life so you can be at peace with yourself. I am a singer, songwriter, actress, model, film/TV writer, sister, lover, friend... damn I am a lot.."

A Lil Bit About Me
Misha'el, pronounced Mish- Shy- L has a Hebrew name that means "one who is like God".
Born in Washington D.C. on August 27, 1982 she was raised on the
outskirts of D.C. in the suburban area of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. "I
had what I like to call a Cosby kid upbringing full of love, care, and
chocolate cake." Her dad a musician and evangelist, her mom a singer
and chief budgeting officer for the World Bank nurtured Misha'els
musical interests by keeping her involved in the church choir and
holding "mini family concerts" in their basement. Misha'el went to
Clinton Christian School in her younger years and Frederick Douglas high
school in her teens. She involved herself in the schools choir and
singing competitions whenever the chance arose.
Exposed to gospel and soul music during her up bringing it wasn't until her father made her go to her cousins 14th birthday party that she was introduced to alternative and rock music. "I walked in the door and the band was playing No Doubt's 'Spider Web' I instantly fell in love with the electric guitar and hypnotic beats." After showing such an interest in the music she heard, her father introduced her to music from artist such as Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner, and Prince.

You're The One Acoustic
TIMING is everything.
With that said this can be considered a two part posting. If you ever wondered why things are just now happening for you or something is just being received that you have waited for so long to get, this is why....
Timing is EVERYTHING.
With time we are able to reflect on what we could've done differently with no regrets. We are able to see how we will make the next thing bigger and better. We are also able to see in hind sight why it was a good thing that some things took as long as they did to show a result. When you are in align with your destiny everything will be right on time.

I am so proud to present to you my very first official music video to the acoustic version of You're the One. This video was directed by Sheldon Schwartz and I am blessed that he took time out of his shooting schedule so that he could work with me on this project, along with Keith Kuramoto, Richard "L.R." Elie and Chad Davis.
The cast and crew are amazing. I am so blessed and thankful that we got it done. This is merely the beginning. I really do hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed shooting it.

This is my first feature and I started thinking when doing this project that we as a people are never just one thing. Just like the earth we have many seasons, we have many duties, and many expectations.
We are mothers, daughters, husbands and wives. We are also entertainers, business execs, and teachers.
Beings that are more than just our titles we are feeling and expressions. Brandy Vital's vision of "in MY element" is pure and real. As you watch the very first episode I want you to think about your element and then pat yourself on the back for the light that you bring to this world.
The smallest ray of light is brighter than the smallest patch of fog in darkness.

Let's Get Physical! (Pop Physique)
Hey Dolls and Gents,
We all know that Ur The One blog posts are geared to bettering oneself. Ur The One has a mission to help their readers excel mind, body, and soul. Check out the excerpts that we previously posted below.

Well chaps and chappets we have started with the mental in the aforementioned articles, now its time to tackle the next project up, the body. All together now sing "Let's Get Physical, Physical".....Gotta Love the 80's!
Yes, yes, lovelies I know all the work that it takes to even think about picking up a weight brings excruciating pain to the brain. Well no worries that's why we pounced on the mental first to gear you up for the focus its going to take for the physical. So slap that lazy you out of your way and let's get ready to get that body into shape!
If your anything like me you have tried the local gyms, the parks around the way, and every possible fitness disc you can think of. Well, I have two fitness regiments that takes me to that next level. The first work out that takes me "HIGHER" <--- shameless plug, is called.... DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!
PopPhysique!
"Hardcore. Fat Burning. Fun. Smart. Stylish"
PopPhysique actually sculpts your entire body. Yes weights are involved but take it from me you will be dancing in your head to their playlist so hard, that you will barely feel squeezing your triceps inch by inch or planking for 20 seconds!
The classes are designed so well that by the time you think your legs are totally going to give out on you the instructors switch right to your biceps or planking. The PopPhysique design is not to totally kill you that you can't come back the next day. It is designed to make sure not only can people see your new Ruthie Davis heels and your super short mini dress but the sexy legs and calves that make the whole ensemble come together.
Their studios are chic, stylish, and top notch. Take a look at the decor in one of their studios in the pics below. The staff and the even the clients are extremely focused on getting toned! I just recently started going to the newly opened Hollywood location. Its so conveniently located right off the 101 freeway. It's also motivating to see the instructors in shape. The absolute worst is to have an instructor out of shape tell you how you should get in shape. Well you won't find that here folks. One of my favorite instructors is Mrs. Brandee Harris she gets you fit without breaking you down. She is the type of instructor that wants to make sure you are getting the most you can get out of the class! I never want to disappoint her by cheating on a sit up, but I must admit that I cheat on a plank or two. Always move at your own safe pace.
Any fitness regime that has a picture of a tush as part of their marketing materials have to believe strongly in their system. Oh and please men don't shy away from this great work out. Men should maintain their flexibility too!
I know your saying that sounds all fine and dandy but what's its costing me Sandy?! Don't you worry PopPhysique is one of the most affordable fitness regiments where you can actually see a difference.
I saw a difference after just 5 classes. I got an unlimited deal for a month as a newbie.
They are only $20 per class and have crazy affordable packages if you want to take more than one class, which trust me you will want to. Click on PopPhysique to find out more about their packages and deals.
This is just for my westcoasters as the PopPhysique brand has not ventured to the east coast yet, but don't you worry I have something special coming for my hometown east coast folks!

Hello Dolls and Gents,
Man do I have a lot to tell you. In our time away from one another, I have come to realize that everyone has a restart button its just up to you to press it. I had to press mine most recently. When we last had a chat it was back in February 2011 entitled "Stay Focused On What is For You" I talked about current jobs at that time. Well, one of those jobs, spa manager, was taken from me. I really thought I knew what I was doing. At least it sounded like a great plan. Work the 9 to 5 then go home and work on the music. Enjoy what your doing to the fullest and make great bread while you work, but something happened along the way. There was a shift in my universe and I thought it was an explosion. However, it wasn't an explosion it was just a small adjustment. See I was only suppose to be where I was for a certain period of time. You couldn't have told me that then though. I didn't feel a shift, not at the time I was being removed from my great job. It was more like a galactic meteor shower raining down on my head with no protection. I knew I was suppose to be there until LA Reid, No ID, or Jimmy Iovine came knocking for me to sign that deal.
I was really confused and fell into a bout of depression not understanding why I was where I was and why it happened the way it did. After the meteor shower I had other great doors open for me as a personal assistant and starting my own company all the while still grinding it out with music but I couldn't even see the great things or money coming my way. Our egos are funny like that.
I'm not sure who else has gotten rained on by a meteor shower but their not fun. I have gotten out of mine with one simple move that I must share with you. Are you ready? Are you sure? Give it to you all ready? *Pause* OK here goes....
Get over it and move on! Sorry hope that wasn't too cruel dolls and gents. I know its way easier said than done trust me I know, but try doing some of the things listed below. They helped me restart maybe they can help you too. Remember what may feel like a meteor shower may just be a shift in the right direction.
- Keep A Blessing Journal. God is good but we tend to call Him only for helping us out of a storm. We rarely thank Him for the blessings He has already given. Plus when you see some rocks coming it helps to look back on clear skies.
- Stay Focused. It is so easy to wallow in self pity but it is also extremely unattractive. Your aura is ugly and no one will want to be around you including your spiritual you. Know your purpose and focus on that it will help.
- Give Up Something You Enjoy For 21 Days. I did a meat fast. I did not eat any meat except for seafood. It was torture esp. when someone in the flat reheated Big Mama's buffalo wings. I must say close to day 5 I became more self aware and stronger spiritually.
- Find A Support System. You are who you hang around. When the chips fall and you hear a lot of I told you so or I knew that wouldn't work kindly and respectfully dismiss them from your life. When you restart you need to start new. Don't bring the same negative energy you tried to leave behind into your newly downloaded system.
